2011 Over ten years ago, I created this site for projects I was working on with my local music scene. I volunteered any help I could through photography and promotion. That grew to another level that included touring, band management, modeling shoots, events and business promotion, merchandising, acting, promotional modelling, and more.

Things in my life shifted. I continued to support my local friends, but wasn’t as involved due to availability. I kept this site going, but added a few things here and there that redirected it’s focus.

2026 I’m currently in the process of updating. I plan to bring back the focus to showcase local things, such as artists and businesses.

For a few years, starting around 2011, I was known as LadySkullshine in our small local metal music scene. I would be the crazy girl in the mosh pit with my camera. Trying my best to capture some awesome live moments, on and off the stage. Thanks to those who let me get on stage with you, and those that looked out for me.

When I first started my venture, I had met a lot of people in my local metal music community. I became close friends with several that I still talk to and work with today. Back then, I took a lot of pictures for bands and assisted with promotion. I also managed the band Apocryfiend. I then started doing photoshoots with models, made and sold band merchandise, and did some promotional modelling as a Lead Farmer Girl, and a BizR Babe. I also went on tour with Apocryfiend and LFG for the Damsels of Darkness Tour.

This all quickly spread to other music genres beyond PA, as well as to local businesses. I worked on a clothing fashion show. I was also asked to present a music award two years in a row at the 717 Music Entertainment Awards. In 2018, I was asked to star in my close friend Skip’s local horror movie Camp Hideaway Massacre, with my oldest daughter. This can be found on IMDb.

Over time, things tapered off a bit due to availability. I kept up with my friends as much as possible. Fast forward to now, 2026. I’m working on a few things and will be updating quite a bit here. Please check back for more. Thanks for visiting!
